While Hellhounds can certainly come from Hell as we know it, the Hellhounds we normally work with are from a general Astral space. It is not generally a space you can visit due to unsafe conditions such as high temperatures and flames shooting out of the ground out of nowhere. Since these hounds are accustomed to the realm and have a fiery energy themselves, they’re OK to live there and any other realms that have similar living conditions.

The Hellhounds that we work with are raised since puppyhood to become protectors of their chosen companions. They are trained to protect from both magical and physical attacks. They can even put in work to protect their person from themselves by banishing things like negative thinking or habits. Some venture out of their realm to find their chosen companions or stay within the realm to raise the next generation of Hellhounds.

For those who choose to go out and find a companion, do everything they can to protect them and make sure they’re successful in all their endeavors, usually as a way to “pay back” their person for giving them a loving home. They are always appreciative and loyal to those they consider family, so if you have other spirits in your spirit family, they will also be protected by them.

The Hellhounds we work with take the forms of different dogs you can find here on Earth. They usually have a black coat with auburn accents and licks of flames or orange energy swirling around them. These Hellhounds can also shift sizes, such as appearing larger to be more intimidating or smaller for optimal cuddle time.
